Things Rivers State University Have Not Done, School Resumption Is Around The Corner ( No 1 Will Shock You)

      According to school Calendar Fresh students are to resume 23th of Oct and 30th Oct for returning students but up till now the school haven't done concerning resumption or release of admission list or school fees payment

So i listed the following needs and problems the students are facing


1.   Admission List Is Not Yet Out : Unlike other years this year Rivers state university admission list is still not out, no accurate reasons reliable or suitable assurance have been given to the students has to why the list isn't out yet and as a result of this the students and Aspirant are very worried


2.     No Renovation For Hostels Has Been Done Yet: The hostels in Rsu need serious renovation especially  NDDC hostel, if you were in this hostel the last concluded semesters you will know what I mean and if this issues isn't fix yet I don't know how possible it gonna be for student to move in and face the suffering they went through last semester, as for other hostels I know they have their complains too..  Some of the issues that need urgent attention in the hostels are
a. Water scarcity, the issues of scarcity of water is a very crucial problem that needs to be address because at times students go as far as Deeper Life Bible Church, F&;G, hostel E, etc in the case of Girls HOSTELS to get water which is a form of distress to the students and such some forgo their class for the that day and some don't bath at all to class as a result of this, so please we are pleaded to the student Union Government to address this issues
b. Frequent attack on girls hostels which have put the students into much fright should be address
c. The toilets and bathrooms both in girls and boys hostels should be address too because so many things are damage beyond repair that all it needs is change


3.     Some Classrooms has no desk  and light, the ones that have, majority are damage which needs repairs. I remember my first day in school because of running around to be able to meet up lectures and get a sit for  myself which was extremely difficult I got wounded badly by a spoilt bench and I still have the scars to show for it. And concerning the light issue because of lack of light for in some classes students feel reluctant go to night class to Read because they are scare that they might be attacked by our so called "SS3boys" or diobu boys that Come around the school environment at night.. I do remember what my roommate once told me, 'that anytime she goes to night class she go with #100 or #200 to give them than allow them rape or do something drastic to her just in case they come around ' funny right but that's just the truth, "Prevention Is Better Than Cure"


4.    Some Classrooms are leaking which is not conducive for a proper learning environment



5.    No School fees payment list for the Session has been release : Till now Rsu haven't brought out school fees payment list yet because of the delay in the release of admission list


6.    The insecurity issues which the Past SUG adminstration said they have tackled is still  are still there, some of it are been listed above but will not say much on it here




7.   The School Website is having serious Problems, student can no longer access the school App which was very easy to use and reliable for students to check their result and other things very easily without much stress like the school website.
