Wizkid released "Come Closer" last week with regular collaborator Drake joining him on the afrobeats heater. The two worked together on Drake's "One Dance" and Wizkid's own “Ojuelegba” remix with Skepta. Drake doesn't appear in the Daps-directed "Come Closer" video but the visual is filled with dancers and nods to Wizkid's African heritage.
Directed by DAPS (born Oladapo Fagbenle), the visuals display WizKid dancing and singing with a few models that are juxtaposed against a white background, which also transitions to bold tones of red, green, blue and orange during portions of the presentation. Unfortunately, Drake does not make an appearance (in case you were wondering).
