The presidency has responded to allegation that President Muhammadu Buhari donated $500 million to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
There was a rumour that Buhari wanted Clinton to win the US election and donated to her but Garba Shehu, who is the senior special assistant to the president on media, denied the allegation and subsequent report that the US president-elect, Trump was annoyed.

In a series of tweets, he explained that Nigeria was even in the process of retrieving monies held in US banks especially those looted by Diepreye Alamieyeseigha Sani Abacha.
