Linda Ikeji is a former Nigerain fashion model and, currently a businesswoman with a celebrity gossip blog visited by millions of visitors every day. Linda Ikeji was born on September 19, 1980 in Nkwerre local government area of Imo State. She was raised in a Christian Catholic family with a humble background. Linda Ikeji developed a passion for writing in her early childhood, later becoming interested in news. At the University of Lagos, she studied English Language. While studying, she took a number of odd jobs, such as waitressing, modeling, bar-tending, and occasional writing for a number of magazines. Since the year 2004, Linda has been involved in the modeling industry. First, she managed the affairs of her agency and events management company Black Dove Communications. She rose to fame and prominence in 2006-2007, as she has started her famous Linda Ikeji’s blog, gossiping and sharing materials which fascinated her readers. As of 2014, her blog www.lindaikeji.blogspot.com has grown to be one of the most-visited sites in Nigeria. Linda Ikeji has been acknowledged as one of the most influential media persons in Nigeria, both by the Nigerian and international media.
